American Traffic Information, Inc. (ATI), established in 1986, is a company specializing in traffic monitoring and data processing. The firm has extensive experience in the deployment and operation of various types of monitoring equipment and different methods of data collection techniques utilized in this field.

ATI is involved in major data collection projects for different government agencies including The New York City Department of Transportation, The New York State Department of Transportation, The Port Authority of NY & NJ, The New York State Thruway Authority and various engineering consultants.

The firm has acquired specialist experience with Travel Time studies and with O-D (Origin-Destination) surveys. ATI is also an expert in other types of traffic surveys including vehicle classification, pedestrian flows, travel time studies, parking studies, gap studies, interviews, etc.

Our goal is to provide high quality data on all projects and assignments. ATI constantly upgrades its equipment and updates data collection methods, as well as provides continuing training and education to its personnel.
ATI employs 20 full-time technicians and over 70 part-time surveyors.
